Alhambra High School – Class of 2026 Graduation Information

Graduation Ceremony
• Date: Tuesday, May 19, 2026
• Time: 2:30 PM
• Location: Veterans Memorial Coliseum
1826 W. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ
• Graduates arrive: 1:30 PM (REQUIRED)
• Doors open for guests: 2:00 PM
• Parking: FREE (South side only — enter via 17th Ave & McDowell Rd)

Mandatory Rehearsal
• Date: Monday, May 18
• Time: 1:00 PM
• Location: Main Gym & South Gym
• Attendance is REQUIRED
• Students will sit on the gym floor for part of rehearsal

Day of Ceremony Instructions
• Report to South staging area (DOWN RAMP)
• No guests allowed in staging area
• Guests enter South side (UP RAMP)
• Late students may not be allowed to participate

Dress Code
• Men: Dark slacks, dress shoes, socks, tie, light shirt
• Women: Dress, or blouse with skirt/slacks
• Shoes: Flat or low heels recommended

Cap & Gown
• Decorations must be appropriate
◦ Cultural/tribal regalia allowed
◦ Inappropriate items will result in removal

Behavior Expectations
• Graduation is a privilege
• Disruptive behavior = removal from ceremony
• No drugs/alcohol — violations will involve authorities

Coliseum Rules
• Clear Bags only
• Small clutch bags with or without a strap are allowed (does not have to be clear)
• Bags subject to search
• Not allowed: Helium balloons, air horns, laser devices, coolers

After the Ceremony
• Exit through EAST Tunnel
• Meet family in South Parking Lot
• Photo company will provide pictures (link coming soon)

L&D Day Friday, April 24th. No in-person classes will be held. Attendance Requirements: Please log into Edmentum through Clever and complete 15 minutes of Reading and 15 minutes of Math. Student intervention supports are available between 1:30 and 3:30.

Alhambra Boys and Girls presents BASKETBALL SPRING TRAINING CAMP. Open to all 7th and 8th graders free of charge. Get training and instruction from our varsity staff coaches (boys) Coach Upsher, (Girls) Coach Brown. Date: April 11th 9AM-11AM in the South Gym of Alhambra High School 3839 W Camelback Rd. Free Football Clinic for 6th–8th Graders
Alhambra High School is hosting a free Junior Lions Football Clinic for students in 6th through 8th grade. Participants will have the opportunity to show their skills and be coached by varsity football coaches at Alhambra. The clinic will include football drills, offensive and defensive instruction, and 7-on-7 activities.
