Good afternoon, Crockett parents!

Just a quick reminder about our upcoming Title I and Curriculum Night on Wednesday, August 26, beginning at 5:00 PM in the cafeteria.

This is an important parent event where we will share information about our curriculum and your child’s most recent beginning-of-the-year STAR, math, and reading assessment scores.

This information will give you an opportunity to work with your child’s teacher to develop the best plan to support your child’s learning and ensure they are on track to be proficient in reading and math at their grade level by the end of the school year.

We look forward to seeing everyone there! Thank you for partnering with us to help our Crockett students succeed!

Pierce Park, Community & Connection 💙

What a beautiful day at Pierce Park! We were proud to have three Balsz tents representing our community — Balsz Elementary School District, Pat Tillman Middle School, and Griffith Elementary — with our friends at Southwest Human Development helping us welcome families at the Tillman tent.

We were also honored to celebrate alongside Mayor Kate Gallego, our Governing Board members, City of Phoenix, AZ USA, Park Rangers, Phoenix Public Library – Saguaro Branch, the 44th Community Alliance, and so many families and community members who came out to enjoy the day.

Today was especially meaningful as we celebrated the improvements at Pierce Park, including the renovated tennis and pickleball courts. We are grateful to the 44th Community Alliance for spearheading this effort and bringing the community together to help create a renewed space for families to gather, play and connect.

Thank you to all of our community partners and everyone who helped make today such a special celebration! 💙
