Our 5th grade Theatre 1 students brought The Jungle Book to life! After reading the play version of The Jungle Book, each student chose an animal character to create a mask for and spent time outside on campus using paper mâché to build and paint their own unique creations.

We love seeing their creativity shine! ✨

One last ring of the bell for the Class of 2026. 🔔❤️

Each year at Arizona School for the Arts, seniors begin their final year by ringing the bell during the first week of school. At the end of the school year, they make their way through the “Tunnel of Love,” surrounded by cheering Upper School students and teachers, to ring the Cosanti bell one final time and run through the iconic ASA Red Gate!

A favorite ASA tradition and a special way to celebrate our seniors as they close this chapter and step into what’s next. ✨

Students in 6th grade recently celebrated the culmination of their short story writing unit with Stumpy’s Intergalactic Story Café—an immersive publishing event where young authors shared the mini-books they wrote, illustrated, and carefully crafted over the past several weeks.

Ms. Lynch transformed her classroom into a space-themed café, complete with cozy reading spaces, glowing lights, and plenty of “fuel” for creative minds. Students rotated through the café reading one another’s stories, leaving thoughtful reviews, and celebrating the hard work that goes into the writing process—from first draft to published book.

This special event was a memorable way to honor our students’ creativity, perseverance, and growth as writers—and to remind them that their stories truly have the power to transport readers to new worlds.
