From May 26 thru May 29, the Cortez office will be open from 7am-4pm
From June 1-July 5, the Cortez office and school will be closed
July 6: The Cortez Office reopens.

Walk Through Registration Info:
On Tuesday, July 28, we welcome students with the last names starting with A through M.
On Wednesday, July 29, we welcome students with the last names starting with N through Z.

The first day of school for all students will be Monday, August 10.

Big news for Cortez High School!

Cortez High School was awarded 3rd Place for the Most Improved FAFSA Completion Rate among medium schools, increasing our completion rate by an incredible 25% from last school year!

Cortez continues to be at the forefront of helping more students pursue college degrees and other postsecondary opportunities. This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our Counseling Department and College & Career Center Specialist, who remain committed to supporting our students and their futures.

We are proud of this accomplishment and excited to continue creating opportunities for all Colts!

A few weeks ago, we had an incredible evening celebrating outstanding students at our Honors & Awards Ceremony!🎉

We also recognized our seniors for scholarships earned as they get ready for college🎓.

Congratulations to all of our students who were recognized for their hard work, leadership, talent, and dedication during their time at Cortez.

Congratulations to the Cortez performing arts team for ending this year with some amazing performances. From evening performances in the auditorium to music at lunch, this was a great year for all of the performing arts at Cortez.
