💙🤍 It’s more than just rolling the dice and drawing cards- it’s about building real friendships sharing huge laughs, and taking a well deserved brain break before afternoon classes.

🌱🍕 Lunch with Dr. Barnes!

Dr. Barnes stopped by Tillman Middle School to sample some of the vegan lunch options—and he wasn’t keeping the vegan chicken nuggets to himself! 👀

A couple of students were brave enough to give them a try, too! 🍗🌱

Vegan pizza, vegan nuggets, and a little lunchtime taste-testing with our Warriors. Now that’s a lunch break! 💚

🤖 STEM Robotics in Action Across Balsz!

We’re excited to see our new partnership with GenTech bringing hands-on STEM learning to students across Balsz School District!

At Brunson-Lee Elementary School Academy, students are beginning to build foundational skills and explore new technology. At Pat Tillman Middle School, Mr. Barrios’ STEM students are taking those opportunities even further through robotics—putting their problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and technical skills into action.

Take a look inside Mr. Barrios’ classroom as our Tillman Warriors learn by doing, explore robotics, and discover what’s possible when STEM comes to life! 🚀

We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to see where this partnership takes our students!

Pierce Park, Community & Connection 💙

What a beautiful day at Pierce Park! We were proud to have three Balsz tents representing our community — Balsz Elementary School District, Pat Tillman Middle School, and Griffith Elementary — with our friends at Southwest Human Development helping us welcome families at the Tillman tent.

We were also honored to celebrate alongside Mayor Kate Gallego, our Governing Board members, City of Phoenix, AZ USA, Park Rangers, Phoenix Public Library – Saguaro Branch, the 44th Community Alliance, and so many families and community members who came out to enjoy the day.

Today was especially meaningful as we celebrated the improvements at Pierce Park, including the renovated tennis and pickleball courts. We are grateful to the 44th Community Alliance for spearheading this effort and bringing the community together to help create a renewed space for families to gather, play and connect.

Thank you to all of our community partners and everyone who helped make today such a special celebration! 💙
