We are cooking again this Saturday!! Please come out and grab a delicious sandwich (or two or three) and help support us! We have sausage too! We sold out by 1pm last month, and we are cooking as much as we can fit on our pit again this time. Thanks for your support!!

We at the Jacksonville Volunteer Fire Company would like to take a moment to congratulate our most recent graduate, Wyatt Molner. We would also like to congratulate his parents (and also our members) Mollie Molner and Jeff Molner in helping Wyatt overcome some personal challenges to make it to this milestone. Way to go “W”!!

We at the Jacksonville Volunteer Fire Company would like to take a moment to congratulate our very own Life Member Kathy Boblits on her recent induction into the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association Hall of Fame. Kathy has been a member of our Fire Company since 1990, and prior to that was a member of the Hereford Ambulance Association (now Monkton EMS). Additionally, Kathy has also worked for the Baltimore County Fire Department since 1999 and has been a member of the BCoFD Honor Guard since 2009.

Our Engine 473 and Medic 475 are just clearing a two vehicle accident at Manor Road and Green Glade Road.

One lane of the road is open, but please use caution as police and tow operators work to investigate and clean up.

Expect an increased presence of emergency personnel and Maryland National Guard aircraft on Thursday, April 23, in the following areas:

📍Loch Raven Dam Reservoir
📍Big Gunpowder Falls
📍Gunpowder River
📍Gunpowder Falls State Park
📍Hart Miller Island

🕒 Duration: 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
🗺️ Scope: 20 square miles of air, land, and water operations.
⚠️ Note: Realistic props will be on-site; please do not tamper with them for your safety, and for the safety of our first responders.

🚨🚨 ELEVATED FIRE DANGER THIS WEEK 🚨🚨

The combination of winds around and low relative humidity this week will produce an elevated fire danger across our area.

Residents and visitors are urged to exercise caution if handling open flames or equipment that creates sparks. Also, dispose of ci******es, matches, and other flammable items in appropriate containers.

Keep vehicles off of dry grass and obey local burn bans. Most dry grasses, dead leaves, and other tree litter could easily ignite and spread fire quickly.

Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged.
