Historic Sarah H. Pemberton House Site for Historic Sarah Pemberton House; updates, pictures, and more. The Sarah H. Pemberton House is a historic home in downtown Phoenix built circa 1920.

It is currently under refurbishment. It is hoped to be back in use as office spaces in Fall 2017. We hope to raise awareness of this historic house, and bring attention to others that may also be in need.

Good Afternoon Friends and Family. Downtown phoenix is having their music arts festival this weekend. Parking will be difficult for the Pemberton open house. Pemberton is located on 2nd street and the light rail is on central. You can take the light rail to see Pemberton instead of fighting traffic. Hope to see you all there.

We keep finding arts and craft furniture that would look great in the house . It is hard to resist but here is little sense in furnishings until there is restoration. However, we cannot resist Tiffany style lamps.

Downtown is organizing, Move Phx is going for moving people including what we hope will be a downtown trolley right in front of the house. The city has been talking about a Business Development District. This would promote businesses, events, maybe some shade, a director and a cleaning crew. It is still in the talking stages.

the world moves to fast. We had a break in last week. Fortunately a good alarm and good police kept everything intact.

I had some people stop by who want to dream for the whole neighborhood. If we could what would we build on the block with Pemberton. Hance Park is across the street, then maybe this house surrounded by loft space., bottom story day care?

Spring is coming and time going too fast.We keep being curious about Sarah Pemberton who built this home. There is a fair amount on her husband but not much on her.

The Sarah Pemberton house built in 1920 is slowly being restored and repaired. It is a Prairie style home with what was a carriage house. We are almost ready to take the final site plans to the city for approval. Our goal is to destroy as little as possible, keep as much as possible, and repair as much as possible.

It is a wonderful place with maple and fir floors, and lots of the original still intact.
