The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on February 6, 2020 that Star Water Systems has recalled about 33,000 sump pumps sold under the Utilitech, Do it, and Star Water Systems brands because the pumps can overheat, posing a fire risk. No injuries have been reported.
