Hope Women's Center - Phoenix No woman should face a crisis alone.

Hope Women's Center exists to engage, encourage and equip vulnerable women and teen girls by providing support for their spiritual, physical and emotional needs. Hope Women’s Center (Apache Junction, Coolidge, Phoenix, West Valley & Maricopa) serves women and teen girls facing any difficult life situation. Whether faced with drug/alcohol addiction, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, unplanned pregnancy

, unemployment, prostitution, homelessness or family conflict, trained mentors and teachers are available to provide assistance, encouragement and support. The mission of Hope Women’s Center is to engage, encourage and equip vulnerable women and adolescent girls by providing support for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. We offer a wholistic approach to the hurts of life by addressing each facet of a woman and providing her with tools and resources to discover how truly extraordinary she was made to be. As we celebrate moms this month, we are so thankful for those who come to Hope looking for support and someone to walk with them through their difficult seasons.

Ashley is a single mom of four young kids, doing everything alone after moving across the country.

Through our ĒMA (Every Mother's Advocate) program, Ashley was paired with an advocate who met with her each week, listening, encouraging her, and helping her with her next steps. Recently, Ashley has started our free counseling program because she knows she needs this kind of support. The goal of ĒMA is to help mothers find stability and keep families together.

National Prevention Week is taking place from May 10-16, 2026, an annual event hosted by SAMHSA to raise awareness about the power of prevention in mental health and substance misuse.

According to SAMHSA, prevention doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens when people feel safe, supported, and connected.

At Hope, we provide a safe place for support and connection every day.

Our trauma-informed programs offer:

• Free professional counseling
• One-on-one mentoring
• Life skills and parenting classes
• Celebrate Recovery & substance use disorder prevention

We believe prevention starts with support, community and hope. Please visit hopewomenscenter.org for a center near you.

If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use or mental health challenges, you can also call the SAMHSA National Helpline 1-800-662-HELP (4357) or the 988 Lifeline can be called, texted, or chatted with for support.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Hope Women’s Center! 🌷

We loved celebrating moms at our Hike for Hope: Moms Rock Edition and seeing our community show up to honor and support them. Whether you’re a biological mom, adoptive mom, stepmom, or a mother figure, we see you and celebrate you. We also know today can be hard. If you are missing your mom or your child, we are thinking of you and standing with you in love.

Our monthly needs list is here!🎉

Every day, women and teen girls who come to Hope earn points by participating in our programs that provide education, healing, and community.

She then uses those points to "shop" in our center boutiques for essential items like food, toiletries, and clothing. This empowers her to provide not only for herself but also for her children and family.

We are so thankful for our community and your generosity. Because of you, women are getting the essential items they need for a more stable tomorrow.

You can drop off donations at any local Hope Women’s Center. Visit https://www.hopewomenscenter.org/center-locations/ for a location near you.

Bethany walked into our Phoenix center exhausted. She was pregnant, experiencing homelessness, and struggling with addiction and mental health challenges. She knew she needed help but didn’t know where else to go. Our staff welcomed her in, offered her a shower, emergency supplies, and a safe place to rest.

Bethany told us, “It’s so nice here. You’ve spent time with me and you didn’t ask me to move on like everyone else.”

Nearly all of our clients have experienced trauma or childhood abuse, which is why we offer free, trauma-informed counseling through our free Hope Heals counseling program.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. At Hope, we walk alongside women and teen girls so they don’t have to face a crisis alone.

Two years after our initial meeting with Bethany, she returned, sober for a year and with a happy and healthy daughter. She thanked our team for the kindness we showed her when she had nothing. Bethany said she will remember Hope as a place where she felt safe, accepted, and seen as she worked to rebuild her life and find a loving community.

It’s because of support like this that women can heal and rebuild their lives. Your gift of just $75 provides one hour of free counseling for women and teen girls in crisis.

We are so grateful for this incredible gift from WINI!

Because of the funds they raised during their Galentine’s Fundraiser, WINI donated $12,500 to support the women and families at Hope Women’s Center.

Their generous gift will make a real difference for the women and children we serve.

🔹It helped decorate and furnish our new Tolleson Kids Room, creating a safe and welcoming space for children while their moms take classes and receive the support they need.

🔹It also gives 70 moms two months of support, including counseling, classes, and job training.

Every woman who walks through our doors is met with compassion, care, and support for both her and her children.

Thank you, , for your partnership and the way you continue to support the work at Hope.
