ELECTION DAY! (Tuesday, November 3)
Elect Republicans . . . “Golden Ticket” GOP Slate prepared by Republican Party of Arizona/RPA
Know the following:
2 Ways to Vote:
In-Person: at Polls/Vote Centers (any location) Find locations https://recorder.maricopa.gov/pollingplace/
Poll Hours: 6:00am to 7:00pm
Right to Vote:
Standing in Line: you get to vote if standing in line by 7:00pm
Provisional Ballot: if you have any problems at Vote Center/Poll when checking-in, ask for a “Provisional Ballot”
Identification: take your ID to Poll (government-issued, e.g., driver’s license, passport)
Poll Integrity: Report any issues at polls to AZ GOP Hotline 602-926-2877 . . . issues include voter intimidation/harassment whether inside poll building, while waiting in line and in poll parking or nearby area.
Mail Ballot: Do Not Mail – Drop Off before 7:00pm at any Poll/Vote Center or County Elections Office Drop Box – Find locations https://recorder.maricopa.gov/pollingplace/
Return Envelope: reminder, sign your name + date, phone number

BALLOT MEASURES:
Judge/Justice Retention:
Judges/Justices’ performance are rated by the Arizona Judicial Performance Review Commission https://www.azcourts.gov/jpr based on specific criteria but not based on court decisions, thus providing the public non-partisan and non-political info on retention decisions; Commission’s rating: all Justices/Judges on Ballot meet judicial performance standards
Maricopa County, Proposition 449: County health facilities district asking taxpayers to continue a property tax (will soon expire);
“Yes” vote will continue the tax on real estate property,
“No” vote is to not approve continuing the property tax and letting it expire;
Phoenix, Proposition 444: the state limits how much cities can spend based on a formula;
“Yes” vote allows city of Phoenix to avoid the state limit and allows Mayor/Council to decide how much to spend;
“No” vote keeps city of Phoenix within state-imposed spending limits.
Statewide, Proposition 207: allows recreational use of ma*****na;
“Yes” vote supports allowing use of recreational use of ma*****na,
“No” vote maintains current laws on ma*****na use.
Statewide, Proposition 208: allows creating a surcharge on higher income residents to fund education;
“Yes” vote supports creating a surcharge on higher income residents to fund education,
“No” vote maintains current laws on tax rates and education funding.
