We are happy to report that Local 2596 Firefighters are staffing Station 4 this weekend. Our hope is this will become more of a regular occurrence as Union Leaders work with Fire District Administrators to solve the staffing issues. We are confident that our goal of consistent staffing can be achieved through teamwork and cooperation. Thank you to those who are working hard to find a solution to this issue.

It’s that time of year again. We are kicking off our annual holiday food drive in partnership with the City of Talent

You can help support our community by donating non-perishable food items for local families in need. Donations can be dropped off at Station 5, 5811 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix (just outside Talent)

Local 2596 members will deliver the food and gifts to some special families just in time for the holidays.

There is also a Holiday Gift Tree at Talent City Hall to help support families. Gifts are accepted until the second week of December.
