We need your help assembling 1000 wound care supplies, these kits are one simple way we can meet people's needs when individuals do not have access to medical care. Help us break the stigma and join us next week Wednesday, May 27 at our Tempe warehouse. This is open to the public, you will be required to stand for long periods of time, accessible roles are available upon request.

"At this formation building event, you will have an opportunity to meet and learn more about the providers leading these advocacy efforts and how their programming is vital to the health, safety, and wellness of our community. We will provide direction on different ways to engage with City of Phoenix leaders, as well as provide guidance as how to make the most of your engagement, as well as sample comments you can follow when composing your own. Everyone who wants to join in this important advocacy is welcome to come learn and join in the formation of wider advocacy efforts."

We are getting back into Summer Hours for our syringe service program (SSP) sites this year 🌞😀. Here are a list of our Maricopa and Yuma County locations which started Summer Hours last week. Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week! 🎉 SPW gave an appreciation party for some of our amazing volunteers this week that included a painting session and good times. Our volunteers are an integral part of the organization, from kit-making for life saving supplies to tabling events, helping out at syringe service sites, HIV/Hep-C testing, and more. 💖Thank you to all our volunteers who are essential members of our community! 💖💖💖

Some people can't safely access medical care. A wound care kit changes that. It reduces infection, restores autonomy, and reminds someone they're not forgotten. Each month, we rely on our community to assemble 1,000 kits — and we make it an event worth showing up for.

**BONUS: This month we're turning it up with a Karaoke-themed Kit Party! Sing along, grab the mic, and let's pack 1,000 kits together! Can we count on you?

Here's what we've been hearing from folks across the state. We share this information so we can keep each other safe, not to cause fear or panic, but to stay informed and share resources. Because of criminalization, we often don't know exactly what's in the drug supply or the potency of any particular substance. The best source of information is people in our communities who are actively using, they are the experts and know how to keep each other safe. We'd love to hear from you if you have personal experience and want to share what you are seeing/feeling/experiencing with the current drug supply. 💖💖💖
