We'd would like to introduce you to our newest Village of Phoenix Police cruiser. Our 2026 Dodge Pursuit police package that was delivered today. This car is replacing one that was wrecked while responding to a motor vehicle accident at the beginning of this year. You will see this patrolling the village streets in it's "old school" design.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ What an incredible day here in the Village of Phoenix.

Todayโ€™s Memorial Day Parade brought our community together to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country. Seeing so many people come out to support the parade, wave flags, and pay their respects was truly special.

Thank you to the Phoenix V.F.W., all parade participants, volunteers, first responders, and everyone who helped make today a success. Most importantly, we remember the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

From all of us at the Village of Phoenix Police Department, thank you for making today such a meaningful day for our community. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโค๏ธ

๐Ÿšจ SCAM ALERT ๐Ÿšจ

The Village of Phoenix Police Department would like to make residents aware of an ongoing phone scam that has recently been reported in our area.

Several residents have received phone calls from individuals claiming to be law enforcement officers or court officials. The callers tell victims they missed a court appearance or jury duty obligation and must immediately pay a fine, often around $600, to avoid arrest or deputies responding to their home.

In some cases, the scammers have become aggressive and threatening when questioned. One recent report even involved threats toward a residentโ€™s home after the caller was confronted about the scam.

โš ๏ธ Please remember:
โ€ข Law enforcement agencies and courts will NEVER demand immediate payment over the phone.
โ€ข Police will NEVER request payment through gift cards, Cash App, Venmo, cryptocurrency, or prepaid cards.
โ€ข NEVER provide personal, banking, or financial information to unsolicited callers.
โ€ข If you receive one of these calls, hang up immediately. ๐Ÿ“ž

โœ… If you are unsure whether a call is legitimate, contact your local police department or the court directly using an official phone number.

Please help spread awareness by sharing this post with family, friends, and especially elderly loved ones who are often targeted by scammers. Stay alert and stay safe! ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿš”
