Herrera School for the Arts is a kindergarten through grade eight school where we foster the minds and hearts of our students and inspire them to become empowered, compassionate leaders committed to their own personal growth to create a better tomorrow. You may attend Herrera School even if you do not live in our boundaries, as long as space exists in our classrooms.

We are gearing up for our 2026 Phoenix #1 Night of Inspiration, where we'll celebrate 40 outstanding staff members nominated by their peers as inspirations! Before our students returned to school, nearly 900 Phoenix #1 staff members came together for our annual Back to School Rally to celebrate and get energized for the year ahead!

The morning included music, amazing raffle prizes, special recognition of Phoenix #1 alumni, and the announcement of our 2026 Phoenix #1 Night of Inspiration nominees in the Teacher, Support Staff, and Innovator categories. AZ Family's Gibby Parra brought the energy as our emcee!

It was a great way to celebrate our Phoenix #1 team before officially kicking off another school year together. 💙✨
