Phoenixville Area Community Services Nurturing food security in the Phoenixville Area since 1972. In 2020 we’ve taken steps to meet that goal. We were awarded a grant to purchase a refrigerated van.

Our goal is to provide access to healthy, nutritious food and this requires adequate refrigeration and storage space. An important part of our vision for food distribution, this van will help us pick up and transport fresh food. We purchased a new building at 101 Buchanan St. This building can support our mission, which is to nurture food security in our community. 💗 Thank You, National Charity League "Pink Shirts"! 💗

A big thank you to the National Charity League volunteers who joined us on Saturday! Lulu, Amanda, Margot, Jamie, and Emma! Our dedicated "Pink Shirts" spent the morning sorting food donations and helping with inventory! These essential tasks keep our pantry running smoothly and ensure food gets to neighbors who need it most.

What makes this group especially wonderful is their ongoing commitment to PACS. They show up regularly, lending their time, energy, and enthusiasm throughout the year. Their continued support makes a lasting impact on our community.

Fresh from the OHPACS Garden to the community!

Our shelves are a little greener today thanks to the incredible work of the volunteers at the OHPACS Garden! Their dedication and care have helped provide fresh, nutritious produce for our neighbors, including lettuce, peppers, leafy greens, and kale.

From planting and weeding to watering and harvesting, these volunteers make it possible for local families to enjoy healthy, garden-fresh food. We are so grateful for the time and effort they invest to help strengthen our community.

Volunteer of the Month- June 2026- Denise Montgomery!

Denise was first introduced to PACS when she volunteered alongside her daughters through NCL. She was immediately struck by how many people were being helped on a Saturday morning and how efficiently everything was run. Even after her time with NCL ended, PACS stayed with her, and she knew it was a place where she could truly make a difference. Now, after a busy work week, she genuinely looks forward to her Saturday mornings there, knowing she is helping others and being part of such a fantastic, dedicated team. The experience continues to be incredibly rewarding and meaningful for her.

Thanks to a generous donation, we have tomato starter plants available in the market today! Pick one up and enjoy fresh, homegrown tomatoes throughout the season.
