Governor Josh Shapiro is making backroom deals with data center lobbyists—and working class Pennsylvanians are paying the price.

Shapiro’s recent executive order is nothing more than a desperate attempt to save face as he seeks reelection. It is clear that Josh Shapiro is on the side of the ruling class and will protect their interests at the expense of our communities.

We need a system where working people—not billionaires and corporations—shape our future.

On Thursday, August 20th volunteers from the Phoenixville Liberation Center and PSL SEPA joined members of SEIU 32BJ in taking a stand and calling for a contract that provides affordable healthcare and better wages to the custodial staff at Ursinus College.

The very workers that keep Ursinus running have faced lower wages and raises in healthcare cost that have made healthcare unaffordable.

We stand with the Ursinus custodial staff in their fight for livable wages and healthcare, both of which are human rights!
