PA Representative Greg Vitali has proposed a bill to remove a 2021 sales tax exemption for data centers that has already robbed communities of over $80 million.

Unfortunately, this bill is currently stuck in committee, and congressional recess is approaching fast.

Join us on Thursday, June 4th, at 7PM to write to our elected officials demanding they move this bill—and several others like it—forward. If we can afford a 6% sales tax, the billionaire class can too.

AI data centers negatively affect everyone, from the people in our community to the wildlife we all know and love.

Earlier this month, residents fed up with their local representatives refusing to condemn AI data centers got together to write postcards demanding more.

More protection from harmful bills like HB2151 and HB2150, which would strip local municipalities (including our own) from their ability to effectively oversee what is being built, as well as approve lax oversight of our local resources.

We called upon our elected leaders to vote NO on these bills and any bills like them. Instead, we support a full data center moratorium.

With these postcards, we reminded our lawmakers that they were elected to serve us, not the big corporations more concerned with short-term profit than the health and wellbeing of the communities they claim to be investing in.
