🌿 Volunteer Work Day at Powder Run Trail! 🌿

On Saturday, August 29, East Pikeland Township volunteers and staff came together for a productive Volunteer Work Day on the Powder Run Trail! Together, we chipped more than 300 feet of trail, helping improve the trail’s quality and making it a better experience for residents to enjoy.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers Gary, Alex, Richard, Kathleen, and Erik for giving their time and lending a hand! We also appreciate our dedicated Township staff Matt, Rich, and Eleanor for helping make the day a success.

It’s amazing what we can accomplish when our community works together! 💚 Thank you to everyone who continues to give their time and talents to make East Pikeland a great place to live, work, and enjoy the outdoors.

Despite the forecast, last night's final summer concert was a hit all thanks to Vinyl Roots and Bucktown Grill. Ofc. Lewis had the pleasure of handing out Dunkin' Donuts coupons and conversing with attendees. That's a wrap!🎶🍩

Last night was the 3rd and final concert of East Pikeland Township’s Summer Concert Series, and despite the rain, the show went on! Vinyl Roots brought the music and our dedicated concertgoers showed up to support live music in our community. Our food truck, Bucktown Grille served delicious food throughout the event!

A huge thank-you to our Evergreen, Oak, and Maple sponsors for helping make this summer’s concert series possible. Your support helps us continue to offer free community events for our residents.

Kimberton Whole Foods • Mama Alba’s Diner • Exelon • TPD • Colonial Gardens • C. Raymond Davis & Sons • H.A. Thomson • LTL Consultants • Theurkauf Design and Planning

And a special thank-you to Stonehouse Grill for their generous donation to our raffle! Your generosity helped make the evening even more fun for those who came out. ❤️

We also couldn’t put these events on without the many people working behind the scenes. Thank you to PACS, volunteers Alex and Andrew, Officer Lewis, and our East Pikeland Township staff for all of your help throughout the evening and throughout the concert series.

We would also like the thank the Public Works team for their work maintaining the park and facilities for all of our events, Shaun, Matt, Gene, Steve, Brad, and Rich.

🚨 SCAM ALERT: XFINITY CUSTOMERS BEWARE! 🚨
A scam is currently targeting Xfinity customers with equipment that is five years old or older. Customers are receiving multiple texts and emails designed to look like they are from Xfinity, including messages from an email address labeled “Xfinity Assistant.”
The messages claim that Xfinity is updating fiber optic cables in the area and that an employee needs to come to your home to replace your Xfinity Gateway equipment. Customers are then directed to call a phone number that closely resembles Xfinity’s legitimate customer service number.
Once on the phone, the scammer may act like a real Xfinity representative by confirming your name, phone number, and service address. However, the major red flag is when they ask for bank account or credit card information—information you should never need to provide to schedule a legitimate Xfinity equipment replacement.
The scammers may even have some information about your Xfinity account or monthly bill to make the call seem legitimate. They may also ask you to provide financial information while signing a supposed consent form for the service and can become aggressive or confrontational when questioned.
Protect yourself:
• Do not provide bank or credit card information to an unsolicited caller.
• Do not assume a caller is legitimate because they know some of your account information.
• Be cautious of emails or texts directing you to call a specific number.
• If you receive a message about equipment replacement, contact Xfinity directly using an official customer service number or website to verify it.
When something doesn't feel right, trust your instincts. Hang up and verify before sharing any personal or financial information.
Please share this warning with friends, family, and neighbors who may be Xfinity customers.
