l. Personal communications or social relationships unrelated to PASD business
m. Material protected by copyright
Individual comments or posts that violate the above guidelines may be deleted (if possible given the social media platform) without further notice. Posts may not be deleted simply because they are critical of the PASD, or because they promote an unpopular opinion, if the post otherwise complies with the above guidelines.

6th grade students from Schuylkill took a trip to Valley Forge National Historical Park.
As part of the "Parks as Classrooms" initiative, we used VFNHP to teach students about primary sources and artifacts as well as local history. We made comparisons between “then and now.” We are lucky to have this treasure in our backyard.

Every school has a champion.
Do you know an educator or support professional who goes above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of students, families, and colleagues?
Nominate them for the Chester County Champions of Education Awards and help us celebrate excellence across our schools and educational organizations. Our next recipient of the Rosey the Firebird Award for the new school year was presented to Schuylkill Elementary Principal Lisa McConlogue! Rosey is awarded monthly to a member of our admin team who is a leader in creating a culture of trust, integrity, communication, and excellence. Modeled after our town’s iconic Firebird and legacy of resilience and strength, the award is part of a commitment to building a strong team across the district that can take PASD forward into the future, and as the picture shows, also have a little fun while doing it! Despite a little rain, nothing could dampen the spirit of our Phoenixville Area School District community BBQ. The event was a wonderful reminder of The Power of Us as families, students, staff, and community members came together to connect. The evening showcased the strength of our school community and the connections that make PASD such a special place.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event a success. Rain or shine, The Power of Us continues to bring our community together!

It is time to join the homecoming fun!!! The PASD Welcome Home BBQ will be held on Friday, October 2 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the intersection of City Line and Lincoln Avenues.

Join us for free food, fun, and a community promenade showcasing businesses and resources in Phoenixville. All PASD families, staff, and Phoenixville area community members are welcome to join us.

These students generously gave their time to serve others and make a difference in our community.
