The South Carolina Senate voted to meet on a Sunday — a first in at least four decades — as Republicans continue a push overhaul congressional voting lines.

After a second vote on Saturday, the South Carolina Senate will now reconvene on Tuesday, May 26, at 11:00 AM to continue debate on redistricting.
The session resumes the same day early voting begins for the statewide primary.
