As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, we can think of no more fitting organization to lead this special celebration. The Historical Society has played a vital role in preserving and sharing the rich history of both our community and our country, making them the perfect choice to help honor this historic milestone.

The City of Pickerington extends its deepest condolences to the family of former Mayor Lou Postage. Lou served on City Council for 20 years before his tenure as Mayor in 2002. One of Pickerington's special traditions is the annual Memorial Day event at Victory Park. Members of American Legion Post #283 Pickerington march from Violet Cemetery into the park and host a small ceremony that includes a 21-gun salute, the playing of Taps and a wreath laying. It begins at approximately 9:20-9:30 a.m.

Please join us tomorrow and help pack the park as we remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice.

The sidewalks were full, the businesses were buzzing, and downtown Pickerington got a little more colorful this past Thursday. 🎨✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Chalk the Walk during the monthly Pickerington Village Shop Hop! From incredible artwork to families exploring downtown together, the event was a great reminder of what makes the Elevate District special — creativity, community, and local connections.

These events bring energy to downtown while supporting small businesses, gathering spaces, and experiences that make the Elevate District unique. Whether you came to chalk, shop, stroll, or just enjoy the atmosphere, we’re grateful you were part of it.
