Birney Tech Academy

Birney Tech Academy Birney Elementary is a California Distinguished, and a Title I Achievement School. Ninety-eight percent of our students are Hispanic.

We are one of eight elementary schools of the El Rancho Unified School District. We serve five hundred students from kindergarten to fifth grade, with a teacher staff of twenty-three. Our school has a comprehensive School Safety Plan which includes procedures for disaster drills, crime reporting, medication administration, child abuse reporting, school-wide dress codes, and rules and procedures fo

r school discipline. To ensure safety, our campus is closed. Our school has several services to support and assist students:
Title I, Safe and Drug‐Free Schools and Communities program, Class Size Reduction (CSR), Special Education, State Preschool Program, School Library Grant, National School Lunch Program, and Enhancing Education Through Technology.
