Pico Rivera Civilian Community Academy was held last night!

Week 1 - We met our great group of cadets, and Lt. Grubb lead a tour of the station, including the station jail.

One brave volunteer was even "booked" by our knowledgeable Custody Assistant while we learned about digital fingerprinting, booking photos, and jail meal options (no gluten-free, sorry).

Next, our Law Enforcement Technician described the challenges of answering emergent 911 calls, explained new technologies and dispelled common myths about response times and prioritization practices.

Thank you all for joining us- see you next week!
