The Gold Standard is showing up in the numbers!

Wren High School is proud to celebrate outstanding EOC performance across multiple subject areas. Our students earned the 4th highest Algebra I EOC scores in South Carolina, along with the highest U.S. History & Constitution and Biology EOC scores among schools in Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. Wren also earned the 2nd highest English II EOC scores across AOP Schools.
These results represent the hard work of our students and the commitment of the teachers who challenge, support, and prepare them every day!

Wren High Environmental Science students were busy making a difference in our own school garden!

On Friday, August 21, students participated in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census, observing and counting pollinators in our garden and reporting their findings to Clemson University. Their data will join observations from across the Southeast to help researchers better understand pollinator populations and develop strategies to address pollinator decline.

We love seeing our Hurricanes take what they are learning in the classroom and use it to contribute to real-world science.

The Gold Standard is getting statewide recognition!

Wren High School earned 5 out of 5 stars from SchoolDigger and is ranked:

-1st among high schools in Anderson, Greenville, Oconee, and Pickens counties
-7th highest-rated public high school in South Carolina
-15th out of 245 public and charter high schools statewide

SchoolDigger shared, “Wren High is leading the way with efficient spending, strong equity outcomes, and a trajectory that shows no signs of slowing down.”

We welcomed over fifty students today at our New Student Reception. We know moving/changing schools is difficult, and this was a chance for us to check on our students who are brand new to the Wren Community. Regardless of whether you’re joining us from as far away as Arizona or Vermont, or just down the road from another district, we are glad you are here. Welcome to Wren High School!

Congratulations to Wren High School's very own Savannah Shealy on being named Anderson School District One's 2026–2027 Induction Teacher of the Year!

As an English teacher, Savannah teaches with the rigor, commitment, and enthusiasm of a seasoned veteran while keeping students engaged and invested in their own learning. She sets The Gold Standard for what it means to be an educator through her passion for students, collaborative spirit, and pursuit of excellence. Savannah is a true team player, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of the Hurricane family.

🚨 EVENT UPDATE – WREN FOOTBALL COMMUNITY DAY 🚨

Due to the weather expected this afternoon and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our players, families, and community, Wren Football Community Day has been canceled.

We know everyone was looking forward to kicking off the football season together, and we appreciate your understanding as we make the safety of our Hurricane family our top priority.

Thank you to all of our coaches, volunteers, vendors, food trucks, and community partners who planned to be a part of today’s event.

We can’t wait to see everyone back at Jack King Field soon as we begin another exciting season of Wren Football!
