πŸ“šβ„οΈ Unearth a story from the past with us this July!

Our Original Book Club will meet on Thursday, July 2, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon, a gripping blend of historical fiction and mystery inspired by the real journals of 18th-century midwife Martha Ballard.

As part of our "Unearth History" theme week, we'll dive into this critically acclaimed novel that has captivated readers across the country. The Frozen River was a Good Morning America Book Club Pick, a New York Times bestseller, an NPR Book of the Year, winner of the 2024 Nero Award for Best Mystery Novel, and has received multiple nominations recognizing its excellence in both historical fiction and mystery writing.

πŸ“– Haven't finished the book? Haven't started it? That's okay! New faces are always welcome. Join us to see what our book club is all about, listen to the discussion, and connect with fellow readers.

πŸͺ Feel free to bring a snack for yourself or one to share.

Low-Fi Lounge is your excuse to hang out at the library, vibe in the air conditioning, and do whatever sounds fun. Craft something cool, play games, snack, listen to music, chat with friends, or just exist peacefully for an hour. ✨
