You may have noticed that a portion of second street was closed last weekend. Last Saturday PCFD started their annual hose testing. We had a pretty good turnout to help. Performed hose testing on all but one truck. We will get back to it soon, but the street shouldn’t be closed for more than 2-3 hours. Thank you for understanding and your continued support as we try our best to serve our community with the best equipment and members as possible.

03/17/2021

Don’t forget, if you need drinking water, go to Piedmont City Fire Station and pick up a case. 1 case per household, per day. 9am to 8 pm today!

03/17/2021

Someone will be at the Piedmont City Fire Station tomorrow from 9 am to 8 pm to hand out water. Remember if you need non-potable water for flushing toilets and showering, there is a large yellow tank behind the fire house. You must bring your own means of transporting the non-potable water. Also, we ask that you please avoid burning any yard debris due to lack of water to extinguish fires.

03/16/2021

We are asking people to please refrain from burning until the water is restored with the limited supply and the distance we will have to go to shuttle water would be very difficult to extinguish a fire

03/16/2021

River Road and Piedmont Park will be opening the main bath houses to anyone who is needing to take a shower ( edit Piedmont Park will not be available till in the morning due to cleaning but River Road is open)
