Yesterday, Pierce City, Missouri had the privilege of hosting 24 students and 16 instructors representing 7 different states — Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Massachusetts.

These men and women gave up a long holiday weekend to spend eight intense hours sharpening their skills and pushing themselves outside their comfort zones. Whether career or volunteer, they all came with the same mindset: to improve, to learn, and to better serve their communities.

This style of training is demanding. It challenges firefighters mentally and physically, forcing growth through hard work, teamwork, and realistic hands-on experience. Under the guidance of some of the best instructors the fire service has to offer, every student left stronger, more confident, and better prepared than when they arrived.

We also want to give a sincere thank you to our Fire Board members and James Landoll for taking the time to come out and provide lunch for these hardworking firefighters throughout the day.

Finally, none of this would have been possible without the outstanding support of our training partners:

Rural Fire Tactics, LLC
Max Fire Training
Squad 58 Training Collective
Barry - Lawrence County Ambulance

These are just a few of the incredible photos captured by Midwest Emergency Photography . Be sure to head over to their page and check out the rest of the album!

Pierce City Fire District will be hosting an all-day training event this Saturday, May 23rd, in the area of Adams and Locust. Training evolutions will include both live fire and no-fire scenarios designed to prepare firefighters for real-world emergencies.

Due to the nature of the training, traffic in the area will be restricted for much of the day, and residents may notice smoke from time to time. Please know that all training evolutions are carefully planned and conducted by experienced instructors with safety as the top priority.

We would also like to clarify that the structure being utilized for training will NOT be burned down on Saturday and will remain in similar condition to how it was prior to the training.
