🚔 Honoring a Legacy of Service – Retired Town Marshal Jim Bumbaugh 🚔

As we approach the one-year anniversary of Town Marshal Jim Bumbaugh’s retirement, the Pierceton Police Department would like to take a moment to recognize and thank him for his years of dedicated service to our department and community.

Throughout his career, Jim demonstrated what it truly means to serve with dedication, integrity, and commitment. His leadership, experience, and devotion to the Town of Pierceton have left a lasting impact on our department and the community he proudly served.

While nearly a year has passed since he put up his uniform, the contributions he made and the relationships he built will not be forgotten.

Jim, thank you for your years of service, your leadership, and everything you have done for the Town of Pierceton. We hope retirement has treated you well and that you’re enjoying this well-deserved chapter of life!

Once a part of the Pierceton Police Department family, always a part of the family.

💙🚔 Thank you for your service, Marshal Bumbaugh!

🎉 Pierceton Days is Here! 🎉

The Pierceton Police Department is excited to celebrate another great Pierceton Days with our community! As you enjoy the festivities this weekend, we ask everyone to help make it a fun and safe event for all.

Here are a few safety reminders:
🚶 Be aware of increased pedestrian traffic.
🚗 Slow down and watch for road closures, children, and families walking throughout town.
🚲 Ride bicycles and golf carts responsibly and obey all traffic laws.
🍻 If you plan to drink alcohol, please have a designated driver or use a safe ride home.
👧 Keep a close eye on children and establish a meeting place in case you become separated.
🚔 Follow directions from law enforcement, firefighters, and event staff to help keep everyone safe.

Our officers will be patrolling throughout the weekend and are here to help. If you need assistance, don’t hesitate to stop and speak with one of us.

Let’s work together to make this year’s Pierceton Days a safe, enjoyable, and memorable weekend for everyone. Have fun, be kind, and stay safe!
