Moving your body is one of the most powerful things you can do to lower your risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Physical activity helps lower blood sugar, reduce blood pressure, improve cholesterol, and improve your mood!

And when you take your movement outside, the benefits grow even more. Fresh air, sunlight, and time in nature can improve mental health, increase vitamin D, and make activity feel less like a chore and more like a break.
