"A couple of years ago, we were on a family road trip in South Dakota when all of a sudden we see this gorgeous 50-foot sculpture. It's a stunning stainless steel statue honoring the Native cultures of the Lakota and Dakota people" - Cory Hepola about Chamberlain-Oacoma, South Dakota in S2E6.

"The whole experience really stuck with me. Why is this beautiful statue HERE towering over these two small towns connected by the Missouri River? Who lives here? What do they do?"

Cory was never able to get the statue - and these small towns - out of his head.

So, he went back.
