Public Hearing on Monday, September 21 at 7 pm to establish a Special Assessment District for Fire Services for Pierson Township. This Special Assessment will replace the current millage (more to come on this).

As we are looking at what those charges entail for each of our taxpayers, we want to share - we are still accepting donations for Capital.

This year's Capital Contribution of $3,333 is covered from our Food 4 Fire Event. We currently have $9,491 to to apply to the 2027 Capital amount of $30K. The additional $20K needed will be included in the southern district special assessment.

If a donation to the Sand Lake Fire Department is close to your heart, scan the QR code below to donate directly to the Pierson Township Capital Account, drop the donation at the township, or even go to our local Independent Bank location and ask to make a deposit to our fund!

We are grateful for all donations, big and small!

Looking for a place to hold a party with plenty of parking and a park outside the door?

Pierson Township Lower Hall Rentals are an economical way to host a party; full kitchen, men's and ladies restrooms, baby changer, tables and chairs included. Cleaning supplies are provided. Check your date on the online calendar at the bottom of the page: https://www.piersontwp.org/

Application and $50 deposit (returned after cleaned/key returned) will hold your spot! Email [email protected] application. Pay the rental fee the week of rental, grab a key and you are set for your reservation.
