📢BIG NEWS! MOVIE IN THE PARK HAS A NEW DATE📢

Mark your calendars! Movie in the Park has been moved to Saturday, October 17!
Why the change? Because October 24th is the last derby at the Clay County Fair Association for the year, and we want everyone to have the chance to go out and support this great community event!

We are making Movie Night even more fun this year with a COSTUME CONTEST!! Dress up as your favorite move character, superhero, princess, villain, or any fun costume and join the contest for a chance to win prizes and show off your creativity! Kids and adults!

The City of Piggott mourns the passing of our Street Superintendent, Gary Chronister. For nearly 30 years, Gary faithfully served our community. He was known for his sense of humor, his willingness to always lend a helping hand, and his commitment to the citizens of Piggott. Often unseen by the public Gary worked alongside his coworkers many days and nights serving our town during the snow, ice, storms, and heat doing whatever needed to be done to get our town back in shape. He also always seemed to make the tough work seem not as bad with his jokes and laughs and willingness to always help!

Gary’s impact on our city extends far beyond the work he did each day. He was a coworker, a friend, and a familiar face to everyone who made our community a better place. His service and kindness will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Gary’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed.
