Don't forget this evening is the last open house event this year. We will be having fun at 13 Okfuski Trail at Station 5. Although overcast, there is a very small chance of rain. Come out meet our staff and see all the equipment, as well as let the kids try the challenge course and play in the bouncy house. Hope to see you there 6p-8p, we will have the hotdogs ready!!

Everyone had a great time last night at our open house at Station 2. Thank you again this year for Haynes Life flight landing and letting everyone see the helicopter. Remember we do it again next Tuesday at Station 5 at 13 Okfuski Dr. Unfortunately Life Flight can not be there due to no approved landing area, but we will have alot of things for everyone. Come out Tuesday, May 12th between 6p and 8p to have food and fun.

Pike Road Fire reached a milestone this week. The Pike Road Fire Department has officially begun construction of a new fire station on Wallahatchie Road, located across from the current Station 1. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on April 28, 2026, marking a significant milestone for the department and the community.

This new facility will enhance service delivery and improve response times by providing dedicated living and operational quarters for both paid and volunteer personnel, as well as cutting edge training facilities.

Thanks to the Town of Pike Road and everyone else was a part of making this happen. The station is on track to be finished by Summer 2027.

Last Friday we had the opportunity hang out with Pike Road Elementary School and Macon East Academy. Both crews had a great time with the kids and yes we sprayed some water for them.

Last week, we practiced our roof rescue. Everyone did a great job and the victim is recovering :-) This exercise helps us keep our rope skills sharp.
