Does anyone know where I can get a good price on a case of Bibles? Something like the ones in this picture. They are nice with the soft cover. I need about 40.

The funding for CCI has dropped after the COVID period. It’s understandable because of all the uncertainty in the world now. Looking around there are so many signs of the return of Jesus. I’m excited as I see the signs but it is also somewhat uneasy watching the hurt and turmoil going on around us. Even with all the unknowns, one thing we do know is, time is short. We need to keep working, keep sharing, keep praying for more of Gods people to spread the hope this world needs.
Thank you to the donars that have continued with funding and prayer. Prayer is a powerful weapon against or foe, when you feel discouraged call on Jesus, He wants us to depend on Him.
If you are looking for a mission project, we need to start the radio station in Francis’s Siripi again very soon. When funding slowed down, that was the one we took apart to keep the other stations going. It has had a part in keeping four other stations operating. The government will be taking our license away for that one if it’s not back on air soon. If you aren’t able to help with funding, please pray for us not to loose the license before we can start.
Be involved in Gods work somewhere, regardless of where or what your ministry is. Ministry can be physically involved, financially involved, prayerfully involve, or just sharing encoragement with those that need it. Let's all be ready and working when Jesus comes.

I haven't updated information for CCI for a long time. The station in Port is going ok. They are using a back up transmitter right now because the larger one needed repairs. God has kept it going for years on equipment that has been around since we started the station.
The station in Francia has been off. We moved the equipment to use in areas that we could not afford to purchase more for. We didn't have a presence in Francia to protect it. Now we need to get it going again. The license will be pulled for it if we don't. The plan is to have a repeater station. We do have someone to take care of it as a repeater station.
The radio has been a blessing in the churches, school and community. The school had to take off the roof and add a second story because there wasn't enough room for all the kids. They had to have classes outside under trees for a few years until they completed the renovations.
There is so much to share that I will post more small updates more often. I don't want to make long drawn out post. We have many ideas of how to keep going until Jesus comes. Watch for more post!

The radio station in Port has the opportunity to possibly extend the tower and increase its frequency. If the funding works out Mike and Diana will be going to Port next month to take care of paperwork and oversee the project. Thank you everyone that has helped CCI and the people of Nicaragua financially and prayerfully.
Merry Christmas from CCI, may God continue to bless as we watch for His soon coming!

We just got a call from the pastor in Somoto Nicaragua. They are asking for help too! Their radio station was hit with lightning and they lost their equipment too. Please pray for the radio stations in Nicaragua it looks like the devil is trying to close them down! Now we have 2 stations down, and one to get started. Please pray that these stations all get started soon!

The radio station in Puerto Cabezas is down until we can replace the 2 laptops and mixer board. We could probably get a laptop in Managua that could get it back up but we need to take one that will work with our software as soon as possible. We will do the research on how to get a good mixer board too but, our last visit we were informed they would take it from us at customs. Hopefully we can find a good one in Managua. Right now we don’t have the funding to get the equipment or make the trip. Prayers are needed. I know many of you have been very supportive and we appreciate it so much. It’s when we all work together that God blesses not just the people in Nicaragua but also all of us. The power is in the prayer because we are praying to a God that loves us all and wants us to work together for the good of all His children.

Rosita Radio
The station in Rosita was also damaged, we needed to bring them equipment that included a power supply for a transmitter. This is something that if customs saw it, we could not have gotten in back. So thankful God took care of it. They needed new antennas, the one they had was in bad shape. We were able to get them four new ones and they added 20' on the top of the tower. This station is such a blessing!

Puerto Cabezas Radio
During the past couple years dealing with the virus and unrest in the country, we had been working from home to keep the station going in Port. Between the hurricane and lightning strikes during that time, the station was crippled. We have a team there that was trying to keep it all working. There is damage to the transmitter and it is being repaired. The station is running on a back up. We took the equipment down that couldn't be fixed and was able to assess the physical plant. The roof needs replaced. The ceiling inside has damage from the leaking. The wood and screen around the top of the station needs to be replaced because of weather damage and termites. This has been since the hurricane and it has gotten worse. The tower was repainted while we were there to keep it from corroding. During the past year we have gone through most of the funding to keep the station going. Everything has slowed down during COVID and has not picked back up. This station is online and it is reaching the people in all of Nicaragua as well as around the world. The government has had issues and a lot of the people have skipped the country. These people are listening to the word of God online with CCI 94.1fm.

There hasn't been much posting since the COVID outbreak but CCI has been marching on. Mike & Diana Halverson was able to go last September take some much needed equipment down. The hurricane and lightning had crippled 3 of the stations. Port, Rosita, and Corn Island. By a miracle of God, we were able to get the equipment through customs. We did not know the government was stopping all radio equipment. They take everything when you fly in and either charge 4 times the cost for taxes or keep it and re-sell it. They looked at our bags and decided to focus on the big bag instead of the 4 smaller ones. The big one had our personal supplies and a broadcasting board. The smaller ones had all of the expensive equipment that was needed to get the stations back normal running conditions. We prayed about it and about a week later we got the broadcasting board back for only double the value. It is now hooked up and running. It was a successful trip. Thanks to those praying for us.

Our Radio Station is about to get hit with a hurricane again. Please pray for protection.
