Coins are still available for anyone that would like to purchase one.

For the first time ever, we are offering our challenge coins to the public. Due to shipping costs and transaction costs, the first coin is $30. Each additional coin on the same order is $20 each. Please be sure to include your mailing address so shipping will not be delayed. We only have approximately 50 coins available so they will not last long.

Our department mourns the passing of longtime neighboring Chief Dennis “Big D” Frazier of the Mt. Crest Volunteer Fire Department. He led Mt. Crest from its founding, serving as Chief for more than 45 years. Big D helped shape the foundation that made county fire departments possible throughout Bledsoe County. He never met a stranger and was a positive influence on everyone he encountered. His impact on the fire service and our community will be felt for generations. He will be greatly missed by our department.

4/12/2026 - Bledsoe County, including the City of Pikeville, is currently under burn restrictions issued by the Tennessee Division of Forestry. During this period, no burn permits are being issued. All outdoor burning should be postponed until permits become available again.
