This morning, members of the Bledsoe County Rescue Squad were hard at work refreshing and sharpening our CPR skills.

In an emergency, every second counts. That is why our team consistently trains to stay sharp, updated, and ready to respond at a moment's notice. We are dedicated to keeping Bledsoe County safe!

Thank you to our instructors and to all the members who dedicated their morning to keeping our community safe.

Today, the Bledsoe County Rescue Squad pauses to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
Your bravery and selflessness built the freedoms we cherish and protect every single day.

As volunteers who run toward emergencies when others run away, we have the deepest respect and gratitude for all who have served — especially those who never made it home.

Thank you to our fallen heroes, to our veterans, and to every member of our community who supports us. It is a true honor to serve Bledsoe County.

Wishing everyone a meaningful and peaceful Memorial Day.

Updates 5:12pm accident is cleared at SR30 is back open. Safe travels.

Update 4:11pm. We now have one lane open and will be alternating through traffic. Please drive with caution.

SR 30 is completely shut down coming up the mountain just before Cove Hill. Please use alternate routes.

Update: All clear, roads are back open, power back on.
Thank you to 9 Mile fire department, SVEC, BTC fiber, Sheriff's Department and the Rescue Squad members on scene. Y'all rock!

Big Spring Gap is closed at the 3600 block.
We have the road blocked due to an accident. No traffic can get through at this time. Please use alternate routes. Thank you

UPDATE: HORSE SHOW SCHEDULED TOMORROW HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER.

Friday's Horse Show at at the Bledsoe County Fairgrounds.
Doors open at 4, event begins at 6.
We will be at the concession stands so please stop by, say hello, and grab some food.

ATTENTION: Hwy30 WEST at 3 way market to Watson Loop road is CLOSED due to a multiple vehicle accident!! Please use an alternative route. Detours are set up on both sides. Please be careful, respectful, and plan ahead.
