What a wonderful celebration honoring two amazing ladies as they begin their well-deserved retirement journey, while also celebrating an incredible staff for another successful school year!

Surry County Schools is excited to offer the Discover Your Future: Career Exploration Camp as part of the Ignite Summer Camp program!

This hands-on camp is designed for rising 6th–12th graders who want to explore careers, discover their strengths, and build skills for the future.

📍 Students will:
✅ Explore different career pathways
✅ Hear from guest speakers in healthcare, business, trades, manufacturing, technology, and more
✅ Visit local businesses and see careers in action
✅ Complete self-assessments to discover careers that match their interests and skills
✅ Learn valuable real-world skills like résumé writing, interview techniques, communication, and professionalism
