The future home of two new pickleball courts is taking shape at Armfield Recreation Center thanks to a North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) grant received by the Town of Pilot Mountain.

This project reflects the ongoing partnership between Armfield Recreation Center and the Town of Pilot Mountain, working together to leverage public and private resources to enhance recreational opportunities for our community, county, and region.

We’re excited to continue expanding access to recreation and look forward to sharing updates as construction progresses.

The Town of Pilot Mountain was pleased to celebrate the ribbon cutting for our new Waffle House yesterday! ✂️

Mayor Donna Kiger, Town Commissioners and staff, members of the Pilot Mountain Police Department, Waffle House team members and their families, and community members joined us to welcome this new business to town.

We are excited to have Waffle House as part of our community and wish their team much success for many years to come.

ATTENTION: Water service will be affected during the hours of 8AM until 4PM on Tuesday, June 2nd for the following areas:
Golf Course Road (Friendly Lane to South Academy Street),
All side streets off Golf Course Road (including Stone Haven Drive and Club House Drive),
South Academy Street (South of East Pine Street),
East Pine Street (East of Medical Street).

Water pressure across the system may fluctuate during this time. Please share this message with anyone who may be affected and has not received the alerts.
The Town's contractors are in the final stages of the Water Distribution Improvement Project with completion estimated for this month.
Thank you for your patience as we complete these much-needed infrastructure upgrades.

Attention: Waste Management is running on a one-day delay this week from the Memorial Day holiday. Thursday's trash pick-up will run on Friday (5/29) this week.

Town Hall will be closed on Monday, May 25th, 2026 in observance of Memorial Day.
Offices will reopen on Tuesday.

‼️ Attention/Update: Today, Tuesday, May 12th the Town’s contractors will shut down water service from the intersection of S. Academy Street and Golf Course Road to Friendly Lane.

All side streets off of Golf Course Road between S. Academy Street and Friendly Lane will also be shut down from 8am to 4pm.

The town’s contractors have been working through some unexpected difficulties with the service lines in this area.
We apologize for the interruption and hope to have this resolved soon.

CodeRed alerts have gone out, previous posts have been made, a notice was included in the billing, and a reminder was given at last night’s Board meeting.
