Last night, the Pilot Point City Council conducted business during a regular meeting. Here are the actions taken. Presentations can be found in the comment section.

We also heard a proclamation from Mayor Major for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which was presented to a representative from Denton County Friends of the Family. We thank them for their tireless work supporting victims of domestic violence in our communities.

Come enjoy Pilot Point Main Street's safe trick-or-treat event: it's !

Kiddos are welcome to come play games and enjoy all the fun! There will be:
🧙‍♂️ Costume Contests at 6 pm (for kids, adults, groups and pets)
🎯 Carnival games with prizes for all
👹 The Show Must Go On: A Haunted House Experience at Starbright Center for the Arts (entry is $6 at the door: cash, card or Venmo)
🚜 Hayrides courtesy of the Masonic Lodge

ICYMI: Tomorrow we will be celebrating Pilot Point ISD Homecoming! 🧡

🚨 What to know 🚨
🚧 The Square will be CLOSED beginning at 6 a.m. No parking or through traffic will be permitted. Spectators wishing to watch the parade from the Square can park at City Hall, the Community Center or at 1902 Central Hall.
🍬 For safety reasons, please remain in designated viewing areas and do not cross the parade route during the event
📣 The parade will end at Massey Stadium and all are encouraged to gather there for a pep rally to support our Bearcats!

The Pilot Point ISD Homecoming Parade is THIS FRIDAY, departing the High School at 9 a.m.

🚨 What to know 🚨
🚧 The Square will be CLOSED beginning at 6 a.m. No parking or through traffic will be permitted. Spectators wishing to watch the parade from the Square can park at City Hall, the Community Center or at 1902 Central Hall.

Water Service is currently interrupted for commercial businesses along US-377 from approximately Jerry's Convenient Stop to the entry point of the Windrose Community as our Water Division completes a water line repair. Estimated time of completion: 11:20 am. We apologize for any inconvenience.

TRASH SERVICER TRANSITION STARTING THIS WEEK 🗑️

Please place all bins (containing trash or empty) at the curb on your scheduled collection day. They will be swapped out for your new Republic Services carts in advance of our city's transition to their services in November. Waste Connections will continue to operate solid waste service for the City through the end of October.
