Pilot Community Center is a historic Appalachian landmark located in South Western Virginia (about an hour from the West Virginia border). Built in 1921, the School first served the region academically and recently as a community center (hosting social functions, music, art , poetry, and tutoring events). Pilot Community Center also offers the Pilot School Artist Co-Op & Gallery and the Montgomery

Floyd Regional Library “Little Libraries” program involving book sharing and literacy. In 2014 the Virginia Department of Historic Resources began the process of officially designating the old School as a historic landmark for the community and the state. Contact

WE STILL HAVE APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE THROUGH DECEMBER 17 to help families in need with FREE TOYS FOR CHILDREN. So, if you are struggling this year, please contact Norma at 540-250-8074 to schedule an appointment. We are willing to help everyone, but you can receive toys from only one Toys for Tots distribution point per year. We look forward to serving you and Merry Christmas!!
