Last week, municipal leaders from across the state gathered for the League of Arizona Cities and Towns Annual Conference. Our very own student-athletes Stratton McRae, Tanner Smith, and Cole Batty traveled to represent the Town of Pima. Not only did they do an incredible job carrying the Town of Pima flag during the opening Parade of Flags Ceremony, but they also helped anchor our official Town booth. This year, our booth proudly put the spotlight on our high school's incredible 2A State Basketball Championship seasons, which shows what leadership, teamwork, and dedication look like.
Thank you, Stratton, Tanner, and Cole for representing our town so well.

Meet Natasia Bookgirl Kozakova. She is a University student from Ukraine and will be selling educational books door-to-door in the Town of Pima. This is a summer program that helps pay for her University expenses.
If she knocks on your door and you are not interested in her books, please politely tell her that.

A well-deserved recognition! Kathy Grimes presented a Plaque of Appreciation to Officer T. Donaldson recently to thank him for his incredible support and active participation with the Substance Abuse Coalition at Pima Schools. Thank you, Officer Donaldson! Your dedication inspires our youth and strengthens our community every single day.

REMINDER!! If you live in the Town limits and have extra vegetative debris which includes tree limbs, leaves and branches in your yard FROM THE RECENT STORM, please put it in a pile at the edge of your property that is accessible for the town to pick up without blocking roadways. The Town will be picking up the VEGETATIVE DEBRIS ONLY this week. Thank you!

Hope everyone is safe and surviving the storm damage we encountered yesterday evening. The Public Works and Police Department are working on extra projects of destruction throughout the town. Thank you for your patience as we try to address all the issues. If you live in the Town limits and have extra vegetative debris which includes tree limbs, leaves and branches in your yard from the storm, please put it in a pile at the edge of your property that is accessible for the town to pick up without blocking roadways by 7am Monday morning (Aug. 10). The Town will be picking up the vegetative debris only starting next week. Thank you!
