Get Hunter Education Certified!
Join us for a free, in-person Hunter Education class at Lake Village Public Library. This instructor-led course combines classroom instruction with hands-on demonstrations to help participants become safe, responsible, and knowledgeable hunters.
The class will meet at 5:30 p.m. on all three evenings:
Tuesday, September 15th
Thursday, September 17th
Friday, September 18th
Participants must attend all three sessions and complete all 10 hours to earn certification.

Join us at the Delta Rivers Nature Center on September 17th at 9 a.m. for a PD class on becoming a Stream Team Sponsor! Learn concepts used within Stream Team monitoring, including hydrology, stream surveying, natural and human impacts on streams and monitoring methods.
Becoming a Stream Team Sponsor also gives educators hands-on experience in conducting water quality testing and macroinverterbrate sampling. Don’t miss these opportunities to further conservation education in your classroom.

Join us at the Delta Rivers Nature Center in Pine Bluff to learn about outdoor cooking on September 10th, 17th, and 24th at 5:30 p.m.!
Whether you are experienced cooking over a campfire or an aspiring chef, all ages and skill levels are invited. Each night will feature a different recipe, and attendees are welcome to come one night or all three. All materials will be provided, and we will meet in the picnic area in front of the nature center.

Celebrate the beauty of quilting at the Governor Mike Huckabee Delta Rivers Nature Center to see the Nature Quilters Quilt Show on September 12th, 9 am to 3 pm! Nature inspired quilts will be displayed at the center by many different artists, with quilt supply vendors present and the chance to meet other creatives. AGFC will be hosting a WMA work day to prepare WMAs for the upcoming season - find and register for a work day near you and show your support for Arkansas’s public lands.
