Because stories are for everyone.

Stories are so much more than just words printed on paper. Stories evoke imagination, spark conversations, and help us see the world around us through the lens of someone else's view. This week, we'll be taking a look at some of the wonderful ways you can keep your stories alive, even when you're not sitting down to read.

For example, did you know that the National Literacy Trust (Jun 2025) found that repetition and daily revisiting of favorite stories sparks both feelings of comfort AND excitement--at the same time? It takes just a few minutes to make your child's day with a favorite story.

Arkansas Imagination Library is expanding early literacy and parent engagement in Jefferson and Phillips Counties through a new initiative supported by the Walton Family Foundation. 📚

Over the next two years, this initiative will help deliver more than 73,000 books to children’s homes while strengthening literacy-rich family routines and supporting Pre-K educators.

We are deeply grateful for this investment in Arkansas children, families, and communities. 💙
