In a time when communities across the nation face challenges, moments like this remind us that Pine Bluff remains resilient and committed to standing together. This Peace Pole represents our shared belief that progress is built through unity, understanding, and a commitment to a stronger future for all.

The Peace Pole now stands in the Pine Bluff Memorial Garden at 200 East 8th Avenue as a lasting reminder that even in difficult times, hope, healing, and unity will always have a place in the City of Progress.

I am truly honored and excited to welcome my brother, Mayor Frank D. Scott Jr, to the great City of Pine Bluff as he serves as the Spring 2026 Commencement Speaker for University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

His leadership, vision, and commitment to empowering communities make him an outstanding choice to inspire the graduating class as they prepare to embark on their next chapter.
