Good evening Pine Bluffs!!

School is officially upon us and we want to take this opportunity to remind everyone of some important School Safety laws!

1. Our 20mph when flashing signs are in place and will be running during the following times;
School Start : 7:15am to 8:15am
Lunch : 11:15am to 1:30pm
School End : 3:15pm to 6:30pm
NOTE** Maple St. between 8th and 5th (High School parking lot and main entrance) is 20mph ALL DAY! As is E. 5th St. from Maple to Main St. (elementary playground / elementary main entrance). ***These signs will also be flashing during home games/events across all sports and activities!***
We want to remind everyone that speeding in a school zone is FINES DOUBLE! Please don’t get “stung”!

2. DO NOT pass a school bus while it’s red flashing lights and Stop Sign are activated! This is a zero tolerance violation and automatic citation for us and Laramie County Deputies! This violation carries an automatic court date and up to a $750 fine! Please don’t get “stung”

3. Please watch for kids crossing the road and slow down at crosswalks. We all know as parents, kids often don’t use designated crosswalks, so please pay close attention when school is starting and ending! Failure to stop for kids crossing at crosswalks is a $350 fine, please don’t get “stung”!

All of us at the Pine Bluffs PD and Town of Pine Bluffs want to wish everyone a safe, healthy, and happy 2026-2027 school year! Officer Bob and Deputy Moose will be in the schools and available if you need them!

It is that time of year again when we as citizens exercise our right to vote. During this time please respect other citizens rights to support their candidates and refrain from damaging or taking campaign signs off others property.

Doing so is considered destruction of property and a violation of state law.

Good Morning Pine Bluffs,WY!

In the early morning hours on 08/03/2026 Laramie County Sheriffs Office and Pine Bluffs PD was made aware a suspect from Colorado was in Laramie County. That Suspect was located by Law Enforcement on HWY-215 near N. Main Street.

Due to the nature of the arrest warrant, a high risk traffic stop was conducted blocking part of HWY-215. The suspect complied with Law Enforcement’s orders and was taken into custody. There is no threat to the public and HWY-215 is back open.

Due to incoming weather and much needed rain, we will unfortunately cancel the movie in the park tonight.

We have some weather moving through but should be cleared up by our start time at 6!
