Pine Grove Joint Treatment Authority Wastewater Treatment Facility located in Pine Grove, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania A new wastewater treatment plant was constructed in 2005-2006.

From the Borough of Pine Grove and the Township of Pine Grove; The Pine Grove Joint Treatment Authority was formed in 1996, and in 2001
was given the ownership and operations of the waste water treatment plant. The Authority consists of five members:
two (2) from Pine Grove Borough and three (3) from Pine Grove Township. The Joint Treatment Authority operates the new wastewater treatment plant lo

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) officially opened today. This program helps income-eligible Pennsylvania households with their heating bills during the colder months. Some families may also qualify for emergency services and heating system repair assistance.
