Localized flash flooding will once again be a concern today and tonight as a stalled front remains in the area. Tropical moisture will allow showers/storms to form this afternoon, capable of rainfall rates of 3-4" per hour and having the potential to move over the same locations repeatedly. Combined with the heavy rainfall observed yesterday, this supports a Slight Risk for Excessive Rainfall (Risk Level 2 of 4) for areas generally south of I-64, with a Marginal Risk for Excessive Rainfall (Risk Level 1 of 4) elsewhere through tonight.

We were delighted to receive a donation of water and Propel from a family who relocated to our area from Texas. They had established this charitable practice in their previous hometown and wanted to carry it on here. We appreciate their kindness and thoughtfulness in helping our members stay hydrated during the high temperatures.
