Do you or someone you know need help using a device, want to learn new digital skills or accessing online resources?

Recently our staff member, Leah, was trained to be a digital navigator. Digital navigators are trained guides who provide one-on-one guidance with any technology needs. They can help through a variety of ways: from finding the right devices for each individual’s needs to help with internet or computer questions.

Some examples of how digital navigators can help you:
-Learn how to use a smartphone, tablet, or other device.
-Fill out online forms.
-Understand security and how to protect your privacy online.
-Find low-cost internet or phone service.

This is a free service for anyone who needs it. If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out to [email protected], call us or come in person to set up an appointment!

We have two exciting events this Saturday, May 16!

First at 10 AM, join us for the Have No Fear Ukulele Jam! 🎶 Ukuleles are available for borrowing and all levels are welcome. Have no experience but still want to play? Someone can teach you the basics!

Then at 3 PM, Authors @ The Morton presents: The Skinny by Harold Goldberg. Join us Saturday, May 16 at 3 PM to meet local author Harold Goldberg and grab a copy of his book.

The Skinny is a noir novel about sheer evil in the Big Apple. Stan Kaminski, a down-on-his-luck Polish immigrant, tries to scratch out an existence in 1990s New York City while avoiding the colorful, nefarious characters he encounters at every turn.

These events are free and everyone is welcome! Public Programs at the Morton Memorial Library at Pine Hill are supported by the Ulster Savings Bank Charitable Foundation.

Join the library book club to talk about A Guardian and A Thief by Megha Majumdar.

Set in a near-future Kolkata, India, ravaged by climate change and food scarcity, in which two families seeking to protect their children must battle each other.

Don’t be afraid to stop by even if you didn’t read the book—you can always talk to us about what you read instead!
