bamboo gardening stakes!

Getting ready to plant your garden and need some bamboo stakes to help those growing plants? We’ve got you covered!

Here at the Trevor Zoo, we grow bamboo for our red pandas. After they have finished munching on all the tender leaves and shoots, we take the left-over stalks and cut them to use as gardening stakes.

After your visit to the Trevor Zoo, you can bring home some bamboo stakes that have been professionally prepared by Faith, Berry, Zhu and Cyril, and use it to help grow your plants and vegetables. It doesn’t get any greener than that!

Bundles of 10 stakes in 3, 4, and 5 foot lengths are now available in our Mill Gift Shop!
