OST President- Frank Star Comes Out

Today, the Oglala Sioux Tribe’s Gaming Compact Negotiation Team met with South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden and members of his staff at the OST Justice Center to discuss proposed amendments to the Tribe’s Class III Gaming Compact.

The meeting provided an important opportunity for Tribal and State leaders to engage directly on issues affecting the future of gaming on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, including proposed changes intended to strengthen the Tribe’s gaming operations, support economic development, and ensure the Compact continues to meet the needs of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and its members.
