Hello everyone,

We promised you more fun news, and here it is!

On Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10am, Pine-Strawberry Fire District will be holding an event open to the community. We will be hosting an official push-in of the new fire engine, as well as formally showing off our new land purchase so everyone can walk what will be the future grounds of Pine-Strawberry Fire District’s new Station 41.

There will be water games for the kids, a silent auction of the original of this e-poster art by Board Chairman Bob Papke to benefit our Firefighters’ Association, and best of all—cake to eat!

We would love to have you and your family join us for the event on June 27 so we can celebrate these special occasions together. Thank you all for your support of our firefighters, paramedics, and other Pine-Strawberry Fire District personnel. Without you, none of this would be possible. 😊

More Great News this week for the Pine-Strawberry Community!

As of today, Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the Pine-Strawberry Fire District has closed on a two acre parcel of bare land across the street from the current Fire Station 41 on Hardscrabble Mesa Road in Pine.

This is the first step in building a new Fire Station to serve the Pine-Strawberry Community and provide our firefighters, paramedics, professional staff, and apparatus with a functional, safe, efficient, and comfortable work place.

All of this was made possible by your support and approval of the General Obligation Bond in November.

Pine-Strawberry Fire District wishes to congratulate three of its members on completing continuing education courses!

Congratulations to Slade Conway and Christopher Williamson on completing their Paramedic Certifications as of May 2026! We're happy to have you serving with us. (Not pictured--no formal graduation.)

And congratulations also to Fischer Pelto, one of our wildland reserves and EMTs, on completing his Fire I and II courses as of May 2026! We look forward to having you serve with our structure fire qualified personnel in the future. (Pictures attached.)

Thank you to all three of you for your hard work and dedication to serving our community and making our District a better place. 😁

Pine-Strawberry Fire District personnel joined our older grades at the Pine Elementary School this morning for their water fun day. Have a great summer break, kids, and a safe holiday weekend for everyone! 😁

We're in Stage 1 Fire Restrictions starting this weekend. This includes no shooting and no open burning (including warming fires). Cookers are allowed if they are enclosed and you can turn them on and off, no open flames. Thank you for being safe within our community. 😁

Pine-Strawberry Fire District helped the youngest Pine Elementary School students celebrate with a Water Fun Day! Thank you to everyone who helped at the event and made it an absolutely blast for the kids with us.
